Change the starting job to Start Unemployed > Advanced Setupģ. There is a small bit of leeway, 30 days holiday over the 30 seasons is allowed, however, we'd recommend keeping that number as close to zero as you can unless you absolutely have to holiday! Step by step1. It was confirmed by the developers who stated that: Playing for 30 seasons is a long time, however, we can get the achievement in 4 to 6 hours, depending on the processing power of your setup and your attentiveness to when you need to action messages. You are only allowed 30 days holiday over 30 years. So the issue is, going on holiday voids the achievement, similar to how Manager of the Months/Seasons and winning three league titles in a row have always been voided.
#Football manager 2022 trueachievements update
Note that this was about the Windows version, but as of Update 22.2, this Xbox Edition follows the same coding as the Windows edition. This coding issue is not my theory but confirmed by the developers when I questioned them.

Both 2022 versions have had their coding changed. This guide would work for all those versions but it is not needed, as it makes sense to just continue to 30 seasons after spending 20 years at one club etc. So this one is not buggy- but the coding has changed from last year, and every year previously, including the Xbox Edition 2021.

As of the 7th of December, this has been fixed, as per the patch 22.2 notes
